As humans we do not always realize it, but we are constantly seeking meaning and purpose within life. Here at Romark AC & Plumbing, November is Spiritual Wellness Month, and it is a time for realization, within our consciousness life’s spiritual parallels.
For most people, spirituality is the most overlooked aspect of health. Did you know that “spirituality is often linked with positive health qualities such as lower blood pressure, lower cortisol levels, and more endorphins released in the brain?” It even helps with “emotional stability, lowered health concerns, and even a lowered rate in heart disease.” It is just as important to be spiritually well, as it is to eat healthy, and to exercise.
To practice being spiritually well try some of the following:
Write down what you’re thankful for. It will only make you more thankful.
- Try meditating
- Try prayer.
- Keep a journal
- Smile more. It will create a more positive attitude.
- Be optimistic.
